Ties that Bind Us: Rose Francois on Haiti, Writing, and Creativity

M.J. asks her what the appeal was of writing about the Haitian Revolution. Rose was born in Haiti and raised in Jacksonville, Florida, so M.J. asks her how she sees Haiti, and how she maintains her connections with the country and culture.
